Sanju’s box office collection wins against Baahubali 2 in Australia.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju has crossed the lifetime earning of Prabha’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in the Australian box office. At first Sanju crossed the box office earning of Aamir Khan starring the movie PK collection till now and now this film has become the third biggest film of the Indian cinema.

Sanjay Dutt’s biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor is not only earning in the Indian box-office but this is also minting a lot of money from the overseas cinemas. The movie has left Padmaavat down the list of the Indian cinema movies. After Baahubali 2 and Dangal the film has registered its name in the top 3 biggest films of the Indian cinema.

The movie is the biopic of the most controversial hero of Bollywood: Sanjay Dutt. The movie retraces the path of the actor’s life and then his entry in the Bollywood till date. We see that director Rajkumar Hirani has also explored and projected the darker shades of the actor’s life, which included his involvement in the illegal arms possession case and his addiction to drugs also.

The overall worldwide collection of the movie so far has been Rs 430.50 crore (net Rs 341.22 crore) in India. In the overseas box office, the movie has earned roughly Rs 140 crore. So, the grand total earning of the movie so far is Rs. 570.50 crore. It is said that its going to be very difficult for the movie to enter the league of Rs 600 crore globally.

According to some reports it is said the Fox Star are planning on releasing the movie in the lucrative Chinese market.

There has been a lot of criticism about the film from people but it’s mostly loved and respected by most. Many critics have said that the director has painted the actor as a naive man who was wronged by circumstances and other people. Despite of receiving such good reviews, critics have also praised Rajkumar’s direction and Ranbir Kapoor’s performance in the movie.
