Narasimhan under the direction of his younger brother, the late Shri Shankar Nag.He has acted in over 175 Kannada films under various directors, veterans as well as budding debutants, not to mention some landmark films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi. He has won the Karnataka State Best Actor Award on four occasions, besides others like `Film fare Awards' etc.

Vasishta N. Simha

IndiaIn 2011, Vasishta quit his job as a software engineer and decided to enter the Kannada film industry as an actor. He initially worked on an unreleased film titled Hubballi Hudagaru, before having his first release with Arya's Love (2013). He subsequently made a breakthrough with his role as the main antagonist in Raja Huli (2013), a remake of the Tamil film, Sundarapandian (2012). He later also appeared in Rudra Tandava (2014), a remake of the Tamil film Pandiya Naadu (2013).Vasishta then appeared in JKS's trilingual film, Alone, in a leading role alongside Nikesha Patel. Portraying the male lead, the film won mixed reviews and the actor managed to get an introduction into the Tamil and Telugu film industries.

During his school and college, he remained active in plays and theatres that led him to pursue his career in films. His career started as a writer and director for the Kannada movie Durgada Huli released in 2000.However, as an actor, he did his debut with the film Partha in the year 2003. Since then it was no looking back for the actor as he got a number of movies to act and even right. Some of the movies in which he acted include Veera a Kannada movie in 2013, while Varadanayaka another Kannada film released the same year. He then did the film Masterpiece released in 2015 while the next year he did Santhu Straight Forward followed by Katamarayudu released in 2017. The same year, he did another film called Tiger Galli. He then did another big-time film called Baahubali The Conclusion released in 2017.
